Infinitesima appoints applications director
Scott Eitapence joins the semiconductor metrology company to support advanced manufacturing and packaging applications.
UK semiconductor metrology company Infinitesima has appointed Scott Eitapence as Global Applications Director, strengthening its applications team as it expands the adoption of its metrology technologies.
Eitapence brings more than 25 years of semiconductor industry experience, most recently serving as Director of Applications Development at KLA, where he led a global team of 70 engineers across the US, Asia and Europe.
At Infinitesima, he will lead the company's global applications team and support customers adopting its metrology technologies for semiconductor manufacturing.
Infinitesima's Metron3D production metrology platform and Rapid Probe Microscope (RPM) technology provide high-resolution three-dimensional measurements at production speed. The technologies are being applied to advanced semiconductor processes including advanced packaging and hybrid bonding, where nanoscale measurement and process control are increasingly important.
The company said Eitapence's experience in applications development and semiconductor technology adoption will support the wider deployment of its metrology solutions.
