Amkor Technology reports strong 2025 results, driven by advanced packaging growth
Amkor Technology, a leading provider of semiconductor packaging and test services, reported fourth-quarter net sales of $1.89 billion, up 16% year-on-year, with net income of $172 million and earnings per share of $0.69.
For the full year 2025, the company achieved $6.71 billion in net sales, a 6% increase over 2024, with $374 million in net income and $1.50 earnings per share.
Kevin Engel, Amkor’s president and CEO, highlighted that 2025 was “pivotal,” driven by record revenue in advanced packaging and computing, as well as the execution of strategic initiatives to strengthen the company’s position in the fastest-growing areas of the semiconductor industry.
Total cash and short-term investments stood at $1.99 billion at year-end, with total debt of $1.45 billion.
Looking ahead, Amkor projects Q1 2026 net sales of $1.60–$1.70 billion and plans capital expenditures of $2.5–$3.0 billion for the full year to support continued growth in advanced packaging technologies.
